Police has arrested the person who was demanding money from people by creating a fake WhatsApp ID in the name of Aligarh SSP Kalanidhi Naithani. He was arrested from Bharatpur in Rajasthan and brought here on the basis of a warrant. He has accepted that he had done this act in the name of cheating people.
This incident is of February, when SSP Kalanidhi Naithani created a fake WhatsApp ID by placing a photo of distribution of appointment letters of sub-inspector recruitment in the police line. In which 8001215236 mobile number was used. In this, messages were being sent to those Facebook friends associated with the Facebook ID of the SSP, whose numbers are registered on the Facebook ID. Money was being demanded from them on the pretext of necessity. In this case, a case was registered in the Civil Lines on behalf of the Cyber Cell. Similar ID was made from the name and photo of Inspector Kotwali Ramvakil.
Cyber cell in-charge Jugendra Singh and his team made efforts to identify the accused as Rahul Khan resident of Bharatpur police station area of Rajasthan. He was arrested last week and brought here on the basis of a warrant and lodged in jail. In the police interrogation, he accepted that he had two marriages. Earlier he had a job in Madhya Pradesh. But after leaving the job, he came to the village. Where many youths of his village do cyber hacking. Learning from them, he took the names and photographs of officers and leaders from the internet and did this act to cheat people. In this, the name and photo of Aligarh SSP was used.
